Harappa Education: Redesigning the Ed-tech Platform
I led the UX strategy for Harappa Education’s website revamp, focusing on improving navigation, user journeys, and overall architecture. My approach ensured a seamless, learner-centric experience, reducing drop-offs and enhancing course discoverability.
About Harappa Education
Harappa Education is a pioneering online learning platform that equips professionals with essential cognitive, social, and behavioral skills to succeed in the modern workplace. With a focus on outcome-driven learning, Harappa offers curated courses that empower individuals and organizations to achieve career and business growth.
The Challenge
Despite offering high-quality courses, Harappa Education faced significant challenges with its website’s user experience and architecture. The navigation was unintuitive, making it difficult for users to explore and select the right courses. This friction in the user journey led to a high drop-off rate, negatively impacting engagement and conversions. Additionally, the design across different offerings—both consumer-facing and enterprise solutions—lacked consistency, reducing the overall brand coherence.
The Approach
To address these challenges, we adopted a learner-centric strategy that streamlined navigation and improved website architecture. Key initiatives included:
User-Centric Journeys: We redesigned the course discovery experience to make it easier for users to find relevant learning paths, reducing friction and enhancing engagement.
Simplified Navigation: The website’s structure was revamped to provide a seamless browsing experience, ensuring that users could intuitively navigate between different sections and offerings.
Consistent Design System: We developed a cohesive design language that was implemented across Harappa’s consumer and business-facing platforms. This not only enhanced brand consistency but also improved usability and accessibility.
